About Me

Hi, I’m Sena! I grew up in a small town in Connecticut and have dedicated a large portion of my life to competitive figure skating. At the age of 18 I went on tour with Disney on Ice, traveling throughout the US with the original Frozen on Ice tour. Throughout this incredible experience, I portrayed the role of Young Elsa and met some amazing humans. However, I also faced a range of challenges with regards to living on the road, leaving home at a young age, and figuring out how to establish a routine in an environment that changed weekly.

I graduated from college in Minnesota with a degree in Exercise Science and a Management Studies concentration. Additionally, I am a PN1 Certified Nutrition Coach with Precision Nutrition and I am currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Whilst in college I completed an incredible study abroad experience in Copenhagen, Denmark, where I studied Positive Psychology. While in Europe I was lucky enough to travel quite a bit (thanks to countless sweaty hours the summer before slaving away in restaurants). I would not trade this experience for the world, and I hope I can offer a unique perspective with regards to well-being because of it.

Growing up heavily invested in a sport so deeply ingrained in aesthetics has inevitably lead to a history of challenges regarding my relationship with food, as I am sure a vast majority of people can relate to. However, it has thankfully also lead to a love of health, fitness and nutrition throughout my healing journey. Though my journey is still a work in progress, I am grateful to have found a sustainable sense of balance in my life. My goal is to use my wellness insights I gleaned from my rock-bottom moments to help others who currently feel stuck or helpless to change their lives.

My main objective here is to share what has worked for me as I continue to heal and grow as a person, while being as honest and real as possible! There is nothing quite like getting support and guidance from someone who has been in your exact shoes, which is why I want to dedicate myself to being a role model to others on their unique, vulnerable, and individual journeys towards wellness. A healthy body is foundation to living our best lives, and I am so excited to share my passion for showering our bodies with positive thoughts, nourishing foods, and healing movement!

I will be sharing general thoughts, tips, and my own journey here and on my instagram (@spinderellathreads). However, if you are interested in personalized nutrition and exercise plans contact me directly at sespinella@gmail.com.
